Digital Modelling

I don’t know whether I have written about this before, but I am a big believer in the fact that when you are trying to level up your existing skills, one of the most valuable things you can do is attempt to learn something in an adjacent skill.

The concept is something I refer to as the Kobe Bryant school of thinking; Instead of training further in basketball, he decided to take dance classes. This enabled him to stay light on his feet, stay more dexterous and gave him the additional skill of dancing.

To that end, I decided that I wanted to start picking up some additional skills over the past week and decided to try my hand at some 3d modelling in Blender, here’s some images I have rendered:

I still have a lot to learn, and the idea is to pull these into Unity and learn to program a game, but just wanted to take the time to document a thing I’m doing.

And that’s it for this post.
